A journey called life

Hadith no: 40

Narrated / Authority Of: Abdullah bin Umar who said: The messenger of Allah took me by the shoulder and said: "Be in the world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer." The son of Omar used to say: "At evening do not expect [to live till] morning, and at morning do not expect [to live till] evening. Take from your health for your illness and from your life for your death." (related by Bukhari)

If you are beginning your journey for Life Success – your work, studies, marriage, dream job, or working on any of your dream you have in your life – begin that journey by making “Perfecting Salah” – one of your main life goals, and revolve your life around “Salah”.

Indeed this is the path to true Life Success and within days, you will begin to make a difference – in your life and the life of those around you.

23:1

Successful indeed are the believers.

23:2

Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness.

23:3

And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden).

23:4

And those who pay the Zakat.

23:5

And those who guard their chastity

23:6

Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame;

23:7

But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors;

23:8

Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants;

23:9

And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours).

23:10

These are indeed the inheritors.

23:11

Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever.

(The Believers: verse 1-11)
